He was predeceased by: his parents, Finis Berry and Almeda Berry (Clary); and his siblings, Leland, Jean and Wanda.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Berry; his sons, Dennis Berry and Robert Berry of Austin, Texas; and his sisters, Connie Ford and Donna McAlexander.
