He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Simmons and Evelyn Graves Simmons (Graves); and his brothers, Kevin and Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Marlyss; and his sons, Bob and Frank. He is also survived by three brothers; and a sister.

Greg was honored to be able to donate his body to science.
