He was predeceased by: his parents, Tate Carlton Carlisle, Jr. and Mildred Marie Rushing Carlisle; his brother Wayne Carlisle; and his grandson Alex Michaud. He is survived by: his children, Christy and Chuck; his wife JoAnn Wright Carlisle; his children-in-law, John Michaud and Amy Carlisle; his grandchildren, Amy Clark (Caleb), Sydney Michaud, Silas Carlisle, Lampton Carlisle, Ensley Carlisle and Tate Carlisle; his siblings, Rick Carlisle (Kay), Brian Carlisle (Dionne), Patsy Berry, Barbara Newman (Mike) and Mona Roebuck (Aaron); and his sister-in-law Lydia Carlisle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
