It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David E. Lovell of Hollister, Missouri, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lovell and Eva Lovell (Barnes); his father-in-law Dan VanPelt; his son David "Scott" Lovell; his brothers, Stephen and Robert; his brother-in-law Robert Simpson; and his niece Jennifer VanPelt.

He is survived by: his wife Rea Lovell; his son Keith Lovell (Cindy); his daughters-in-law, Robin Vilbig and Patty Lovell; his mother-in-law Opal Schmidt; his sisters, Carol Simpson and Kristie Feldman (Art); his siblings-in-law, Janet Lovell and Mike VanPelt; his grandchildren, Parker (Kristen), Savannah, Cassidy (Tyler), Camden, Chase, Graham and Max; his nephew Tim VanPelt; his great-niece Kaylee; and his great grandchildren, Braxton and Stella. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

Carol just told me that Steve had passed a few months earlier as Bob was taking his last breath. WOW. Three family members in just a few months.
