She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lawson and Nancy Lawson (Wood); her sister Jeanne Lawson; and her stepfather Marvin Prokop. She is survived by: her husband Charlie Barker; her daughters, Tina Hiser (Jason) of Springfield, Melissa Taillon (Zachary) of Hollister and Bobbi Welder (Casey) of Hollister, Missouri; her grandchildren, Taylor, Benjamin, Austin, Xander, Jackson and Theo; and her sister Lori Farewell (Steve) of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by numerous nieces and extended family.
