He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Olney and Naomi K. Howard Olney; his son Richard Lee Olney; his sisters, Margaret Ruth Hartman and Joan Plataka; and his brothers-in-law, Mac Donovan, Bernard Hartman and Ed Plataka.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Louise; his daughters, Barbara Jo Jarman of St. Louis and Brenda Jean Coffman (Rodney) of Holliday; his grandchildren, Lesley Jarman-McGilligan of St. Louis, Michael Jarman (Kathy) of Fenton, Alicia Bergthold (Cory) of Ashland, Betsy Roberts (Nic) of Kansas City and Garret Coffman (Jackie) of St. Louis; his great grandchildren, Justin, Landen Jarman, Gabriel, Graysen McGilligan, Claire, Callie, Blaine Bergthold, Brecken, Ainsley Roberts and Baby Girl Coffman; his sister Catherine Donovan (Mac) of Paris; and also, Margaret Ruth and Bernard Hartman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Holliday Christian Church.
