He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Lillian; and his siblings, O. W. Hayhurst, Donnie Hayhurst, Norma Dye and Myrtle Roberts.
He is survived by: his spouse Betty Lou Ragsdale; his children, Debra Wilkerson of Paris, MO, James Hayhurst (Mandy) of Thompson, MO, Doug Simon (Keri) of Columbia, MO and Shelly Bedsworth (Jason) of Millersburg, MO; his grandchildren, Jimmy Wilkerson, Jenette White (Bradly), Jacob Hayhurst, Claire Simon, Chloe Simon, Cole Simon, Kate Bedsworth and Paige Bedsworth; and his great grandchildren, Doniven Wilkerson, Dawson Wilkerson, Emma Wilkerson, Ethan Wilkerson, Eragon White and Brooklyn White.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Paris Senior Citizens Center in lieu of flowers.
