He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Callahan and Edna Callahan (Shippy); his great-nephew Brian Ray Van Meter; and his great-niece Malania Young. He is survived by: his sons, Travis Callahan (Mandy) of Pleasant Hill, MO and Jacobe Callahan (Brynn) of Bonner Springs, KS; his grandchildren, Matilda, Frederick, Robert, Elizabeth and Samuel; and his siblings, Gene Callahan (Brenda) of Odessa, Sue Allen of Shawnee, KS, Kay Gudde (Jim) of Kingsville, MO and Connie Hurt of Holden, MO. He is also survived by six nieces, one nephew, four great nieces, and four great nephews.
