We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2024, at the age of 69, Janet Gaye Blackmon of Holden, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janet Gaye may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janet Gaye touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lionel Martinette and Doris Stewart Martinette; her brother Don Martinette; her husband Daniel Blackmon; and her son Jason Kruid.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rod Martinette, Celeste Martinette, Jill Matejka and Carrie Martinette; and her son Derek Blackmon (Kelly Riddell). She is also survived by her family and friends.
