He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Doughty; and his siblings, Joree Doughty, Edgar Carl Jr., Shannon, Kenneth, Donald, Billy and Ned (Babe).

He is survived by: his children, Jeannine Doughty and Martin Doughty (Ali); his grandchildren, Caroline Doughty and Grant Doughty; and his sister Mary Torrence.
