Ira Samuel Hammond Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ira Samuel Hammond of Holden, Missouri, who passed away on July 14, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Taylor Hammond (Wink) and Elsie Ivanetta Hammond (Bransteitter); his wife Ruth; his brother Evertt; his siblings-in-law, Earl Haag, Lynn Dyer, Carol Ann Hammond, Donna Hammond and Joan Hammond; and his son-in-law Jerry Snider.

He is survived by: his children, Melanie Snider and Samuel Hammond (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Sarah Gould (David), Casey Kloeckener (Heaven), Libby Snider, Jeffrey Snider (Laurie), William Snider (Brooke), Benjamin Hammond (Stefanie), Caitlin Hammond and Elise Buchheit (Mark); his great grandchildren, Dylan Gould (Chalis), Shayla Gould, Savannah Gould, Delaney Gould, Bennett Kloeckener, Easton Kloeckener, Emma Gregory, Zachary Snider, Hadley Snider, Harrison Snider, Boston Hammond, Kingsley Hammond, Avery Mena and Barrett Buchheit; his siblings, Tom Hammond, Jesse Hammond (Ronda), Glenn Hammond (Linda), Lewis Hammond (Carol), Marie Haag, Marjorie Dyer, Shirley Schmidli (Lowell) and Bonnie Maret (Eldon); and also David Mortenson. He is also survived by his family and friends.
