He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Charles Schalk and Pauline May Schalk (Redfield); and his brothers, Richard and Larry. He is survived by: his wife Beverly June Greer; his sons, Kenneth (Chariza Schalk) and Gregg (Billie Schalk); his grandchildren, Eric, Brittany, Kyle, Jan Kendrick, Caleb, Dietrich and EliAna; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Aaron, Jaden, Anders, Cooper, Elizabeth, Renea and Gabriel; his sister JoAnn; and his brother-in-law Lloyd Quick of Clinton, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
