Gene Colster Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2023, at the age of 86, Gene Colster of Holden, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Lillian Mae Colster (Bransteitter); his former wife Barbara; his sister Katherine Colster; his son-in-law Jimmie Corbin; and his stepson Michael Ross.

He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, John Colster (Laura) of Warrensburg, Brenda Corbin of Warrensburg and Gail Eckhoff (Jimmy) of Warrensburg; his stepson Montie Ross (Teresa) of Centerview; and his grandchildren, Matt Colster (Nikki), Jennifer Stoner (Aaron), Barbara Forgy (Andrew), Tiffiany, Cody Corbin (Ashley), Jessie Corbin, Jason Burden (Kayla), Austin Burden (Trish), Zac Freeman (Bri), Rachel Alley (Justin) and Danielle Duke (Paul). He is also survived by twenty five great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Grover Park Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
