He was predeceased by: his father Loran Hite; his wife Karen Kay Gambell; his siblings, Lloyd Hite and Louise Haun; and his granddaughter Kaytlin Hite.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Hite of Warrensburg, MO, Herb Hite of Blue Springs, MO, Kathy Sconce (Willie) of Seymour, TX and Mary Hillsman (Steve) of Holden; and his siblings, James Hite of Rockport, TX, Allen Hite (Jackie) of Hermitage, MO, Helen Nichols (John) of Clinton, MO and Elsie Bowman (George) of Junction City, KS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in care of Campbell-Cast Funeral Home to the family in memory of Cecil Hite.
