He was predeceased by: his father Boyd Young, Sr.; and his siblings, Boyd Young, Jr. and Judy Young. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Young (Teresa) of Higginsville, MO, Danyelle Eaton (Mike) of Tarkio, MO and Sasha Young of Holden, MO; his mother Marilyn Young of Warrensburg, MO; his siblings, Donna Young of Warsaw, MO, Bruce Young of Holden, MO, Brent Young of Warsaw, MO and Byron Young (Julie) of Centerview, MO; and his grandchildren, Kymberly Young, Kaytlyn Young, Natlie Young, Jacoby Young, Jonathan Young and Jaxson Young.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Bart A. Young Memorial Fund in care of Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
