He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth LaVern and Myrle Chittenden Fife; his brothers, Donald LaVern, Milton Dean and Ernest Eugene; and his grandparents, Hyrum Chittenden, Rozina Hill, Seth Fife and Mary Ellen Baron.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Martin Fife of Lee's Summit; his children, Stephen DeWayne (Leslie) of Stockton and Lisa Kay Stock (Ron) of Bucyrus, Kansas; his sisters, Betty Joy Graham of Independence and Kay Joneal Lee of Independence Missouri; his grandchildren, Dustin Stock, Catherine Vazquez, Brandy Aadland, Sabrina Clausen, Colton Fife, Amanda Atherton and Justin Lauderdale; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb Stock, Addison Vazquez, Mackenzie Vazquez, Noah Vazquez, Connor Aadland, Kinsley Aadland, Zoe Jefferson, Dresden Clausen, Orion Simpson, Maddox Simpson and Phoenix Atherton.
