He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Garlin Nelson; and his stepdaughters, Kristie Steinbach and Brandy Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Bullinger Nelson of Holcomb; his brothers, Joe Nelson, Jr. (Kim) of Holcomb, Jerry Nelson of Holcomb and Steve Nelson (Tina) of Springdale, Arkansas; and his stepdaughters, Dena Irwin of Cleveland and Heather Davis (Brent) of Piggott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
