He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsay Burchell and Emily Burchell; his wife Nola Chilton Burchell; his siblings, Carl Burchell, Burnett Burchell, Leona Beasley, Viola Keeling, Pauline Beasley and Paulette Prewitt; and his stepchildren, Daryl Chilton, Dallas Chilton, Kay Pike and Robin Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Willyerd (Ben); his stepchildren, Sherry Perry and Douglas Chilton (Glenda); and his sister Doris Barnes (Charlie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
