She was predeceased by: her husband Osvel Lloyd Cossey; her children, Osvel Lloyd Cossey, Jr. and Janet Ruth Cossey; and her parents, Esther Hampton and George Hampton.
She is survived by: her brother James Donald Hampton; her daughter Sarah Long Charlotte (Huey Long); and her grandchildren, Greg Long (Tammy), Marty Long (Michelle), Jeff Ray (Sara), Jeremy Ray (Stephanie), Candace Rushing (Jason), Matt Cossey, Tim Cossey (Angela) and Amiee Rieger (Luke Rieger).
