She is survived by: her mother Carol Brenner; her husband Alan Abernathy; her sons, Todd Abernathy and Jesse Abernathy (Misty); her grandchildren, Liam, Paisley, Aurora and Zane; her brothers, Eddie Brenner, Jim Brenner (Leta), Tim Brenner (late Robyn) and Paul Brenner (Sherry); and her brother-in-law Timothy Abernathy.
