He is survived by: his children, Larry Schmidt Jr., Linda Krassinger (Rick) and Lisa Weiss (Dave); his grandchildren, Brett, Amanda (Chris), Lauren (Jared), Jennifer (George) and Stephanie (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Brendon, Peyton of Olivia, JJ, Judah, Eleanor, River, Leo and Sammy.
