He was predeceased by: his parent Rose Morgan (Capps); his siblings, Dennis Mahan, Phillip Mahan and Rhonda Holland; and his brother-in-law Lee Bird.
He is survived by: his wife Sallie Mahan of Hillsboro; his children, Chad Carney (Shauna) of Hillsboro, Shannon Gerald (Tom) of O'Fallon, Liz Barton (Jason) of Hillsboro and Alicia Abrams of Pevely; his sisters, Debbie Bird of House Springs, Brenda Cooper (Larry) of Mount Vernon and Teresa Smith of San Antonio; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Klaus (Nick), Caleb, Tyler, Mimi, Jake, Conley, Hannah, Cannon, Eli and Austin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
