James L. Bowling Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Bowling of Hillsboro, Missouri, born in Perry, Missouri, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James L. Bowling to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bowling and Bernice Bowling; his daughters, Gwendolyn D. Bowling and Beverly Wooten-Ray; and his siblings, Edward Bowling, Darrel Bowling, Katie Wright and Gretta Hensick.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Bowling; his children, Brenda Smith (Jeff), Curtis Bowling (Pam), Lisa Clifton (David), Kathy Willingham (Matt), Jimmy Wooten (Kathy Guntli), Tim Wooten (Stephanie), Tricia Curtis (Keith), Jerry Wooten (Stephanie) and Meaghan Simmons (Ken); his grandchildren, Dawn Taylor, Josh James, Heather White, Samantha Siedler, Elisha Vogt, Jennifer Pilousek, Maddi Underwood and Travis Clifton; and his siblings, Ray Bowling and Ann Williams. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to any of the following organizations, St. Louis University School of Medicine, ALS, Juvenile Diabetes, American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
