He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen Humphrey and Hettie Humphrey; his daughters, Donna Reece and Regina Beauchaine (Robert); his brother James (Olive); his sisters-in-law, Patricia Rutledge of West Plains, MO. and Jane Sanchez (Fred) of Covina, CA.; his grandchildren, Krista Ray (Frank), Shawna Kimbrough (Josh), Drew Digar (Stormie) and Alyssa Beauchaine (Joey Appleton); his great grandchildren, Phoenix Dean, Griffin Ray, Harrison Ray, Alannah Digar, Carter Stevenson and Merlin Digar; his wife Regunia Luella Humphrey; and his siblings, Albert Humphrey, Robert Humphrey, Anna Pyle and Venetta Joedickie.
Donald's donation of Gift of Body was made to St. Louis Center for Anatomical Science and Education in St. Louis, Missouri.
