He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kaido and Marcelle Kaido; his son Douglas Kaido; and his brother-in-law Dennis Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frederick Kaido; his son John F. Kaido; his grandsons, Roger and Chase Kaido; his sister Michele Kaido Schwent; his siblings-in-law, Dr. John Schwent, Hal, Sandy Frederick, Dr. Keith, Marilyn Frederick and Susan Frederick; and his godsons, Alex Schwent and Dr. Ben Frederick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Buz donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
