She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Eddings and Cordia Eddings (McDaniel); her siblings, Jessie Williams, Richard and Rev. James Eddings; her grandson Brent Hale; her great grandchild Mary Cowherd; her nephew Ronald Eddings; and her children-in-law, Kelly Hale (Pollack), Mack Sportsman, Jerry Moore, Dick Johnson and Joe Crandall.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Crandall, Leonard "Jody", Leroy, Carolyn Johnson, Kathy Howard (Chris), Melvin (Maria), Lloyd (Ericka) and Carl (Carolyn). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
