He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Evans and J. B. Evans; and his brother J. B. Evans. He is survived by: his partner Sandy Shy; his daughter Angela Evans of Wildwood; his grandsons, Gregory Evans and Jacob Woolf; his great grandchildren, Jayden Evans, Samuel Evans, Aria Evans and Zoe Taylor; his brother Ranley Killian (Cally) of Belleville; his sister-in-law Peggy Evans (J. B.); and his in-laws, Shannon Shy (Debbie), Sheri Schuette (Steve) of High Ridge, Sue Voigtmann (Bob) of Eureka and Stacy Burton (Leon) of Union. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
