It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Claudine Schafer of High Ridge, Missouri, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Whitaker and Kathleen Whitaker; her husband James Schafer; her daughter Connie Adams; and her siblings, Lettie Marie Whitaker, Robert Whitaker (Betty), Kirby Whitaker and Brenda (Gary).
She is survived by: her sons, Gerald Schafer (Kelley) and Roger Schafer (Julia); her grandchildren, Jaime Hague (Bill), William Schafer (Kristy), Kenny Schafer (Jamie), Jeff Gruenzinger (Gena), April Hershey (Seth), Tracy Garcia (Travis), Jesse James Schafer (Julia) and Andrew Jackson Schafer; her sister Margie Nash; and her nephews, Terry Nash (Sandy Hanson) and Mike (Dallena).
Memorial donations may be made in Joyce's memory to Mount Olive General Baptist Church.
