He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Schmaeng and Margaret Schmaeng; and his wife Linda Schmaeng. He is survived by: his girlfriend Patricia Rutledge of High Ridge; his children, Michael Schmaeng (Angela) of Richmond and Michelle Erdman (Ben) of High Ridge; his grandchildren, Darian Schmaeng, Zachary Young, Kevin Young and Danielle Young; his great grandchild Kain Young; his siblings, Theresa Schmaeng and Richard Schmaeng (Debbie) of St. Louis; his children, Cindy Bowen (Roger) and Jerry Rutledge; his grandchildren, Abby, James, Kole, Kennedy and Kinlee; and his pet Penny. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
