He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burgess and Amelia Burgess; and his sister Mary Kay Courtway. He is survived by: his wife Melody Burgess; his son McKain Burgess (Tina) of O' Fallon, MO; his brothers, Robert Burgess (Deborah) of Flint Hill, MO and Delmar Lewis (Patricia) of O' Fallon, MO; and his grandchildren, Faith, Kane and Aria.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pitman Funeral Home (1545 Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville, MO 63385). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at the Eternal Peace Cemetery East Pitman (1015 E Pitman Ave, Wentzville, MO 63385).
