It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Carter (High Hill, Missouri), born in Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on May 6, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Barnes and Flossie Mae Carter (Dixon); her brothers, Bill Carter, Emory "Lee" Carter, David Carter, Darell Carter and Kenneth Carter; and her siblings-in-law, Jacqueline Carter, Dave Worley, Andy Edmunds, Fred Cuno and Jim Hollomon.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sidney Carter (Layna) of Columbia, Missouri, Carol Worley of New Florence, Missouri, Barbara Sturart (Sidney) of Holt Summit, Missouri, Nina Edmunds of High Hill, Missouri, Phyllis Gonas (Bob) of New York, Mary Crouch (Bob) of Mineola, Missouri and Gayl Cuno of Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Ruthie Kivet of Indiana, Vera Carter of New Florence, Missouri, Wanda Carter of Troy, Missouri and Barb Carter of Kirksville, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
