It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Borgstadt (Higginsville, Missouri), who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sonny Borgstadt of Fatty Borgstadt, F. D, Doug Borgstadt, Barbara Harp, Alice Johnson and Sue Brooks; and his grandson Christopher Blomberg.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Borgstadt (Hajek); his children, Daryl "Gene" Borgstadt (Joni) of Corder, MO, Teresa Tonnar (Bill) of Corder and Paula Blomberg (Mark) of Waverly, MO; his sister Jane Reeves of Aullville; and his grandchildren, Drew Johnson, Adam Johnson, Whitney Laing, Austin Tonnar, Issiac Blomberg, Noah Blomberg, Brodie Blomberg, Shawn Pearson, Taryn Wooden and Wyatt Borgstadt. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
