He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Smith and Ocie Smith (Gibson); his wife Dolores Smith; and his son-in-law Terry Vickers. He is survived by: his stepson Tim Runyon (Barbara) of Buckner, MO; his daughters, Kristin Schlumpberger (Jeff) of Kansas City, MO, Sonya Vickers of Kansas City, MO and Sheri Espino (Mario) of Lee's Summit, MO; his sister Veneta Purdun (Roger Maxwell) of Richway, MO; and his niece Diane Mitchell. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
