He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Oetting and Anna Oetting (Stuenkel); his wife Mary Oetting (Hartwig); and his son Paul Oetting. He is survived by: his children, John Oetting (Nina) of Warrensburg, MO and Karen Heard (Mark) of Lee's Summit, MO; and his daughter-in-law Linda Oetting of Warrensburg. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
