It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Wassam of Higginsville, Missouri, born in Yoder, Colorado, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christy Wassam and Frances Wassam (Borgess); his wife Jo Ann Wassam (Bradley); his daughters, Debbie Duesi and Rhonda Wassam; and his siblings, Charles Wassam and Lavaun "Sis" Pittman.

He is survived by: his close friend Freda Simpson of Higginsville; his daughters, Penny Hemme (Dave) of Emma, MO, Pam Allen (Mark) of Blue Springs, MO and Brenda Wassam (Randy Webster) of Higginsville; his siblings, Jerry Wassam (Nancy) of Elkland, MO and Daisy Wassam of Fredonia, KS; his grandchildren, Austin Hemme, Caleb Hemme, Nathan Guinn, Kelsey Hardy (Austin), Tristan Webster, Jenna Maiseroulle (Trevor) and Nicole Duesi; and his great grandchild Jaxon Maiseroulle. He is also survived by his grandchildren.

Because of the current health conditions, masks and social distancing are highly encouraged.

The family has asked to make memorial contributions to family choice and they will contribute them to a charitable organization as Larry would want.
