With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ken Bauer of Higginsville, Missouri, born in Corder, Missouri, who passed away on December 23, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Bauer and Katheryn Bauer (Alpers); his former wife JoAnn Bauer; and his son Chris Bauer. He is survived by: his former wife Linda Bauer (Tracy); his wife Lin; his stepchildren, John Wood (Charlene) of Bates City, MO, Ken Wood (Deanna) of Murfreesboro, TN and Jeanna Roepe (Ryan) of Corder; his siblings, Gary Bauer (JoAnn) of Corder and Carol Squires (Jim) of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Kelcie Wood, Emma Wood, Erin Wood, Levi Roepe, Elias Roepe, Charlotte Roepe, Nicole Malloy (Ryan), Crystal Bauer and Kenny Bauer; and his great grandchildren, Jasminn Haynes, Alexis Munson, Hunter Munson and Gavin Bauer.

Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, or Confederate Memorial Friends Association, or Corder Lions Club.
