He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Thaller and Lillian Thaller (Mueller); his siblings, Leo Thaller, Sam Thaller, Robert Thaller, Joan Thaller and Catherine Thaller; and his grandson Michael Stephen Thaller.
He is survived by: his wife Renna Thaller (Brunk); his children, William Thaller of Higginsville, Andrew Thaller (Nicole Jackson) of Stover, MO, Christina Smith (Brent) of Higginsville and Katrina Stewart (Travis) of Waverly, MO; and his sisters, Anna Mattson (Darl) of Higginsville and Helena Thies (Charles) of Atchison, KS. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
