He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Echelmeier and Maude Echelmeier (Raasch); his wife Louise Echelmeier (Sanders); and his sister Kathryn Bridges. He is survived by: his children, Steven Echelmeier (Nancy) of Athens, AL, Stanton Echelmeier (Julie) of Corder, MO, Sharon Echelmeier of Lake Tapawingo, MO and Susan Echelmeier of Boulder, CO; his grandchildren, Alexandra Echelmeier, Dr. Austin Echelmeier, Marie Bachtold (Roger J.), Reid Echelmeier (Shelby) and Benjamin Echelmeier (Kim); and his great grandchildren, Cora Bachtold, Rosalee Bachtold, Wren Bachtold and Arthur Echelmeier.
