He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Salyer and Mildred Salyer (Oxley); his former wife Dorothy Salyer (Ainsworth); and his brother Rowan Salyer. He is survived by: his wife Penny Salyer (Cobb); and his children, David Salyer (B. J.) of Higginsville, Bill Salyer (Cheryl) of Boonville, MO, Craig Cobb (Cheryl) of Holts Summit, MO, Julie Doudrick (Rick) of Warsaw, MO, Jolene Magruder (Dwayne) of Tuscumbia, MO, Sarah King (Kerry) of Raymore, MO and Carolyn Jarman (Daryl) of Urbandale, IA. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
