He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cleatus Van and Elsie Lee Burnine (Swafford); his wife JoAnn Sullivan of Lexington; and his siblings, Terrie Mais (Burnine), Bonnie Leach (Burnine) and Cleatus Burnine. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
