Gene Starke Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Starke of Higginsville, Missouri, who passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert William and Clara Wilhelmina Starke (Block); and his sister Loraine Barber Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Lee (Trigg); his children, Lisa Zimmerschied (George) of Independence, MO, Jennifer Greiwe (David) of Millstadt, IL and David Starke (Carla) of Higginsville, MO; and his grandchildren, Erin Emison, Lindsey Haussmann, Derek Zimmerschied, Kristin Curcuru, Justin Zimmerschied, Drew Greiwe, Allison Starke and Carson Starke.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Salem United Church of Christ (1500 N Main St, Higginsville, MO 64037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made out to the Salem United Church of Christ.
