With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen RosaMay Meyer of Higginsville, Missouri, who passed away on March 8, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eileen RosaMay Meyer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Smith and Irene Smith; her sister Betty Yount (Coy); her husband Paul R. "Duke" Hartwig; her son Ronald P. Hartwig; and her great grandchildren, Micah Faith Thomas and Chloe Shannon Branson.
She is survived by: her former spouse Hobart O. "Hobie" Meyer; her daughters, Vickie Findley (Charles), Donna Swofford (Kenny), Sandra Branson (Larry) and Debbie Gibler (Robert); her daughter-in-law Treva Hartwig; and her stepchildren, Karen Kay Summerville (Jim) and Stanford Meyer (Connie). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1907 N Peach St, Higginsville, MO 64037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Brand Cemetery (10496 Shelby Rd, Higginsville, MO 64037).
