It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Dean Leimkuehler of Higginsville, Missouri, born in Salisbury, Missouri, who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Giles and Dora Mae Rice (Smith); her brother Charles Rice; and her brother-in-law Duane Lang. She is survived by: her husband Gary Leimkuehler; her children, Kirk Leimkuehler (Kim) of Warsaw, MO, Bruce Leimkuehler (Kimberly) of Higginsville, MO and Susan Owen (George) of Sturgeon, MO; her sisters, Mary Sue Butler-Bartholomew of Lee's Summit, MO and Connie Lang of Hutchinson, KS; her sister-in-law Marilyn Rice of Columbia, MO; and her grandchildren, Danielle Watkins, Kaleb Leimkuehler, Emily Wilson (John), Luke Owen and Garret Owen. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
