He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Lewis and Mary Katharine Lewis (Curtius); his wife Janet Lewis (Hilgedick); his brother Curt Lewis; and his niece Laura Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, David Lewis (Kim) of Higginsville, Margaret Thurmon (Tim) of Higginsville and Sara Gibson (Bob) of Higginsville; his brother Lee Lewis (Liza) of Charlottesville, VA; his grandchildren, Timothy Lewis, Emily Lewis, Matthew Gibson, Katie Gibson, Bryan Gibson (Janet Vega), Tim Gibson, Jeff Gibson (Mariah), Brett Gibson (Britney), Kerri Thurmon, Ashley Renken (Mark) and Trent Thurmon; and his great grandchildren, Parker Gibson, Nash Gibson and Evan Renken.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Corder Calvary Cemetery.
