He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Gibson, Sr. and Barbara Curran Gibson; and his daughters, Colleen Gibson and Bridgette Strain. He is survived by: his wife Susan Gibson of Higbee; his children, Julie Gibson of Columbia, James Gibson III (Rebecca) of Higbee, Matthew Gibson (Shelly) of Columbia, Aaron Gibson (Kim) of Columbia, Jeremiah Gibson of Higbee, Amber Gibson of Columbia, David Gibson (Caroline) and Ira Gibson (Miranda Zumalt) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Christopher, Ethan Strain, Cheyenne, Seth, Skye, Shea, Samuel Smith, James IV, William, Victoria, Kylleen Gibson, Trenton, Conner, Chloe Gibson, Taylor, Jaden, Gracie Gibson, Brent, Zachariah, Izabella Gibson and Liliana Gibson; his great grandchildren, Taylor Strain, Gentry and Joelson Fuller; and his brother William Gibson (Ruth) of Tinley Park, IL. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
