He was predeceased by: his parents, Jon and Willemina (Vos). He is survived by: his wife Carla (Gallop); his son Tony (Sondra); his stepson Bradley Gallop (Molly) of Madison, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Kaila Bolles (Matt) of Clark, Craig (Mariah), Emerson and Lydia Gallop; his great grandchildren, Kinley and Britton Bolles; and his brother Bruce (Patricia).

The family would ask in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Moberly, Missouri in honor of Byron deJonge.
