Purdy and Mary June Purdy (Pitney); her husband Herschell Sumpter; her children, Harold Sumpter, Brian Sumpter, Randy Sumpter of Moberly, Missouri, Edith Buckman of Huntsville and Brenda Maldonado (Hugo) of Higbee, Missouri; and her sister Shirley Dicken of Omaha, Nebraska. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great- great grandchildren.
