She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie J. Helming and Alice Helming (Roewe); and her siblings, Virgil Helming and Leona Ocheskey. She is survived by: her daughter Judy Pilger (John) of Hermann; her sister Irene Blackwell (Bill) of Harlingen, Texas; her sister-in-law Earsey Penn of Hermann; her grandchildren, Daniel Pilger of Holiday, Florida, David Pilger of Hermann and Jessica Moellinger (Jason) of Belle, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Serenity Pilger, Kahrston, Vincent, Jasmine Moellinger and Nikolai Hereford.

Memorials may be given to Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer.
