He is survived by: his children, Michelle Helmig Stephens (Dale), Tim Helmig (Jennifer) of Sullivan, Harold Gould (Lisa) of Bland, Jeff Helmig (Shannon) of Owensville, John Helmig (Sue) of Leslie and Randy Helmig (Wendy) of Washington, MO.; and his siblings, Bill Helmig (Florence), Connie Helmig, John Helmig (Shirlynn), Leroy Helmig and Marilyn Bonnell. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
