He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas William, Sr. and Rose Derby (Stellman). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Derby (Hafley); his children, Thomas M. Derby of St. Charles, MO, Lynn Derby of San Diego, CA, Mark Derby of Hermann, MO, Michele Derby (Dustin Winkelmann) of Rhineland, MO, Lisa Uthlaut (Nick) of Hermann, MO and Dawn Derby (Kegan Hagedorn) of Hermann, MO; and his grandchildren, Cecilia Shepard and Russell Uthlaut.
